• Fr Manuel Abela will deliver Lenten talks for youths at the Cappucins' centre, Floriana, from tomorrow to Friday at 8 p.m.

• Youths-4-Jesus will be organising a series of Lenten talks entitled 'Tear It Down', which will run each evening from tomorrow to Saturday between 8 and 9 p.m. at St Julian's parish church. The evenings will feature drummers, the Y4J Band, dancers, vox-pops, testimonies, live worship, a few moments of adoration and practical teachings by Fr Ray Toledo.

• An open day at the medieval chapel of the Annunciation at Ħal Millieri (Żurrieq) is being held by Din l-Art Helwa to celebrate the Feast of the Annunciation on Sunday. The chapel will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m., followed by the blessing of the adjoining churchyards. Guided tours of the site will be offered by volunteer historians Stanley Farrugia Randon at 11.15 a.m. and Salvator Mousù at 3.15 p.m. Admission is free but any donations collected will be used for the upkeep and maintenance of this historic site.

• Sr Catherine Farrugia, who works with HIV sufferers in Zambia, will be speaking about her experiences at St Andrew's Scots Church, South Street, Valletta, during the 10.30 a.m. Mass on Sunday. A collection will be held to assist her work.
