Former Barcelona player and coach Johan Cruyff believes the team can put aside their poor form in the league and overcome Manchester United in the semi-finals of the Champions League.

"Despite the slip-ups in the league and the fact that they have pushed Barcelona to the edge of a precipice, my thoughts haven't changed -- Europe is different," the Dutchman said in his weekly column in El Periodico.

"I'm convinced they've got a chance if they don't do anything stupid."

Cruyff said the key to victory would be pressuring the United defence.

"Where are United's worst players? At the back... So that's where we should pressure them."

Juventus goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon has backed team mate Alessandro Del Piero to earn an Italy recall after the striker's hat-trick in Sunday's 4-0 win at Atalanta.

"It is his best season since I have been at Juve and he deserves to be called up for Euro 2008," the Azzurri keeper told Italian radio.

Inter do not have the Italian title in the bag despite being six points clear, club president Massimo Moratti said.

"There are still four matches left and they are all difficult games against teams who either need points to stay in Serie A, or who need to relaunch themselves, like AC Milan in the derby," Moratti told reporters.

He did not comment on fresh speculation Jose Mourinho might replace coach Roberto Mancini.
