MFA league reforms approved The Malta FA council has approved important reforms of the national leagues.

From next season, the Premier League will be made up of 12 teams while Divisions Two and Three will comprise 14 teams each.

This means that only one club will be relegated from the BOV Premier League at the end of this season and three will gain promotion from Division One.

The council also agreed to nominate MFA President Norman Darmanin Demajo for the UEFA elections next March. 32 clubs and member associations expressed their support for Mr Darmanin Demajo's candidacy.

Former MFA president Joe Mifsud was only nominated by Zurrieq.
