Two types of crackers made by The Italian Gringo brand and currently being sold in local stores contains traces of mustard which are not declared on the contents label, health authorities have warned.
The Environmental Health Directorate issued a warning about lot numbers L 167, 168 and 169 of the brand’s Lo spuntino del Mandriano – Le bruschette al gusto speck e pepe, as well as four different batches (25318, 25418, 25518, 25618) of the company’s Gli Speroni – tarallini al grano saraceno.
The lots could prove dangerous to people allergic to mustard, the Directorate warned.
Mustard allergy is the most common among spice allergies. Consuming mustard can provoke skin reactions, swelling, dizziness and even anaphylaxis among people allergic to it.
