FOI President Anton Borg led an FOI delegation to a meeting on April 5 with a Nationalist Party delegation led by Deputy Leader and Deputy Prime Minister Lawrence Gonzi.

At this meeting, the FOI officials presented a copy of the document outlining the FOI's ideas about industry's vision for the coming years.

Mr Borg gave an overview of the main points included in the FOI document and stressed that the FOI puts EU membership as a top priority, while giving the next government an agenda for further economic restructuring. This was followed by a discussion on specific points of common interest.

FOI deputy president Adrian Bajada, as well as FOI vice-presidents Martin Galea, Joe Pace, Ian Mizzi and Anthony Tabone, accompanied the FOI president at the meeting.

The PN delegation included Economic Services Minister Josef Bonnici, Finance Minister John Dalli and PN secretary-general Joe Saliba.
