I would like to thank Minister Francis Zammit Dimech and Ray Bondin of the Valletta Rehabilitation Project for the restoration works of statues in corners in Floriana and at Lascaris, carried out recently, since I had originally demanded that these works be carried out, in October 1999, through PQ 9918.

But special thanks go to the ministry and workers under its responsibility for the embellishment project by the central government at King George V Playing Field, also in Floriana, costing Lm150,000, apart from workers` wages. I lived my childhood there and hence could not help constantly demanding these works, as a local councillor way back in 1994, and through several parliamentary questions as an MP since 1996.
