Floriana football club and its former president Stephen Vaughan have reached a mutual agreement resolving all pending issues between the two.

This agreement was reached following negotiations between club officials and Mr Vaughan.

Mr Vaughan took over the helm of Floriana FC in January 2013, resigning in February of the following year.

In April last year, the club filed an application for a garnishee order against their former president and his father, claiming they owed them €70,000. On their part, the Vaughans had previously taken legal action against Floriana on grounds that they were owed a significant sum of money by the club.

After severing their ties with Floriana, the Vaughans agreed on a two-year sponsorship with Hibernians.
