Tarxien - 2, Floriana - 1

Tarxien survived a tense final five minutes to earn a deserved victory over Floriana.

Denni put the Rainbows ahead just before the break, with a devastating attack. Ribeiro made it 2-0 on 49 minutes.

Floriana’s display did not merit a goal however they found the net two minutes from time with a glorious 25-metre strike by Ryan Darmanin but Tarxien held on for their fourth win of the season.
