The tariff for telephone services for flight information enquiries by phone has increased to €1.50 since March this year.

While Malta International Airport makes no profit from this arrangement, it was MIA that made the decision to introduce a new call centre. The costs would cover expenses incurred by the centre, as well as to provide ­payment to Go plc that provided the premium service. The free service was through the internet and the TV information channel.
