Five voluntary organisations have signed a grant agreement to receive €58,346.35 from the co-financing fund for voluntary organisations after concluding projects in different sectors.

The fund is administered by the Parliamentary Secretariat for Voluntary Organisations within the Education Ministry.

In all, the organisations would have received a total of €1,088,987.66, which includes the amount they received when their projects were approved.

During the event, Parliamentary Secretary Clifton Grima thanked the representatives of voluntary organisations for their work and said the government was committed to assist the sector.

The organisations receiving the funds were Għajnsielem Redcoats, Cross Culture International Foundation, Foundation for Shelter and Support to Migrants, Bird Life Malta and the Malta Regional Development and Dialogue Foundation.
