Five players were yesterday given a one-match suspension after last weekend's Premier League games.
Floriana's Darko Krsteski was suspended after he received his fourth booking during his side's 1-0 win over Sliema. The Serbian defender will miss Floriana's fixture against Marsaxlokk on Saturday.
Roderick Briffa, the Sliema Wanderers midfielder, also collected his fourth yellow card last weekend and will have to skip the Blues' match against Hibernians on Saturday.
Valletta skipper Gilbert Agius cannot lead his side in their next league match against Hamrun Spartans on January 19 after a fourth yellow card in his side's 2-1 win over Mqabba led to him being banned for one match.
Hamrun Spartans' midfielder Evano Briffa and Quilin Refalo, of Pietà Hotspurs, complete the list of suspended players after they were sent off during Sunday's derby, which the Spartans won 3-0.
Briffa will miss Hamrun's next match against Msida St Joseph on Sunday while Refalo is out of Pietà's encounter with Birkirkara.
