The first World Day of Prayer for the Care of Creation was celebrated yesterday at the Ta’ Qali National Park. Archbishop Charles Scicluna, Environment Minister Leo Brincat, Opposition spokesman Charlo Bonnici, AD deputy leader Carmel Cacopardo, various organisations and children from Skolasajf attended the event. The Archbishop and Mr Brincat, together with the children, planted a tree to mark the occasion.
