Sports and shopping facilities have been opened at Palm City residences, a luxury village built just outside Tripoli with Maltese and Kuwaiti investment.
The project is being spearheaded by the Corinthia group.
Palm City said that following the completion of a large percentage of its landscaping and public areas, its tenants could now enjoy the first of a number of sports facilities and the first of nine retail outlets - a supermarket.
“The four tennis courts and 5-a-side football pitch have proved to be very popular with our residents. As expected the Piazza and the Clubhouse will become the centre of Palm City’s social life and the community feeling is growing steadily as Palm City enters its seventh month of operation since welcoming its first tenant,” said Reuben Xuereb, Managing Director.
Just over 100 families already live at Palm City.
“The next milestone will be the opening of our Food and Beverage outlets within Palm City. The focus of these three restaurants will be ‘fun and creativity’, with parents and kids alike being able to create their own menus and even have their own signature dishes appearing on the restaurant menu,” said Mr. Xuereb.
