France's interior ministry has released some of the first ground video from the scene of last week's crash in the French Alps... now that this remote and wind-swept mountainside is finally reachable by road to French investigators.

Earthmovers have been furiously digging a track to the crash area to get their first direct access to the site.

Until now, the search effort was limited to to a team of 15 military police who were helicoptered in to the Alpine ravine to sift through debris.

Now, trucks are bringing in some of the 350 personnel involved in the search for bodies.

Among the debris reportedly discovered by searchers.... cell phone video showing the final seconds of the flight, according to French and German media.

The wobbly video -- which hasn't been released or confirmed -- reportedly shows a chaotic scene with passengers screaming just before the crash.

Some 80 victims have been identified by DNA prints so far, but investigators are hoping the improved access will speed up their efforts... to help put to rest all 150 victims on board the doomed flight.
