Fire crews this morning battled a fierce fire at a furniture factory at Marsa industrial estate.

The blaze was reported at about 5 a.m. and was brought under control after about two hours.

Fire crews were deployed from the Civil Protection stations in Corradino and Xemxija.

No one was injured.
