The FHRD is holding its bi-annual general meeting on Wednesday, March 21, from 6.45 to 8 p.m. at Malta Enterprise, Marsa (ex-IPSE Building).

In accordance to clause 7(d) of the Foundation's statute, FHRD members "have the right to attend the general meetings, the right to nominate members to the Board and shall be eligible to stand for the election on the Board in terms of Rule 8 of the Statute".

Furthermore, as per clause 15 "amendments to the Statute, may be proposed either by the Board or by ten per cent of the members of the FHRD and will be endorsed by at least simple majority (50 per cent + 1) members, present and voting at the Bi-Annual General Meeting". If you wish to qualify for nominations and voting rights, and thus participate in this important FHRD event ensure that your payment of the FHRD membership is up-to-date. Please note that each corporate member has one vote.

If you wish to stand for the election, kindly request an electronic version of the candidate nomination form by writing to the CEO on mpchircop@fhrd.org. Should you be unable to attend, please ask for a proxy form.

Nominations and amendments to the statute are to reach the president at the FHRD, 1, Triq il-Kampanella, San Gwann, seven working days before the date of the meeting, that is, by March 9.

Preceding the meeting, the FHRD is hosting a master class entitled: 'The evolving organisation paradigm - the 21st century organisation', facilitated by Dr John C. Grech, MA (Econ), Dip. ICEI (A'dam), Ph.D. (Geneva), MBIM, FCIB, chairman and managing director of Economic Management and Consultancy Services Ltd (EMCS).

This will be held between 5.15 and 6.30 p.m. at Malta Enterprise, Marsa.
