Television reach dropped by 5.947 per cent in the July to September period, when compared with April to June.

A radio and television audience assessment for the period, commissioned by the Broadcasting Authority, found that there was an increase in the number of people stating they did not watch television the previous day.

TVM maintained its prime position throughout, increasing the number of viewers over the same broadcasting period of 2010 by 3.86 per cent.

One and Net TV also maintained their ranking over the same period last year, the former losing 0.6 per cent viewers, the latter 1.11 per cent.

The number of radio listeners captured by each broadcasting station was maintained throughout with Bay Radio attaining the highest percentage average of 20.43 per cent of total listeners.

One Radio obtained the second overall average of 13 per cent while Calypso Radio attained the third best average audience reach of 11.43 per cent.
