Ferrari's Felipe Massa won the Turkish Grand Prix from pole position for the third year in a row this afternoon after an enthralling tactical battle with McLaren's Lewis Hamilton.

The Brazilian took the chequered flag 3.7 seconds ahead of the 23-year-old Briton, who made one more pitstop than his rivals, for the seventh win of his career and second of the season.

Ferrari's world champion Kimi Raikkonen saw his overall lead trimmed to seven points from nine after finishing in third place. The Finn has 35 points to Massa and Hamilton's 28 after five races.
