Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson is expecting no favours from protege Steve Bruce when he takes his side to play Sunderland in a crucial Premier League encounter today.

"Sunderland have hit a bit of form, my old captain is doing a great job up there and has started to bring in a few players which is good to see," Ferguson said.

"It's one thing saying that we are hoping Liverpool do us a turn because it is their last home game of the season, but it is Sunderland's last home game as well and we've got to face a team that is in good form."
