Balzan will be looking to extend their positive start when they take on Pembroke Athleta this evening.

The Reds come into this match in high spirits after inflicting the first defeat on Valletta at the Hibs Stadium on Saturday.

Coach Oliver Spiteri will surely urge his players to maintain their focus as Balzan pursue another win that would strengthen their push for a top-two position this season.

Midfielder Ryan Fenech is in line to make his first league start for Balzan after recovering from a groin injury but Montenegrin strikers Bojan Kaljevic and Aleksandar Vujacic are still injured.

Pembroke, on their part, will be hoping to get back to winning form after back-to-back defeats against Sliema and Birkirkara.

Coach Winston Muscat has a full squad at his disposal.
