Amy Marie Borg got a standing ovation for her feisty rendition of Nella Fantasia, but it was not enough to get her one of the two places for the Britain's Got Talent Final on Sunday.

The 16-year-old soprano from Malta got to the semi-finals on Thursday, one of eight performers, but the coveted places on the TV show went to DVJ - the Diversity-inspired dance group, and father and son act Jack and Tim Goodacre.
