A 66-year-old father was this morning conditionally discharged after he was found guilty of slightly injuring his son during a family argument in October 2008.

Police Inspector Fabian Fleri said that the son, Darrin Psaila, 34, had lodged a report at the police station saying he had an argument with his father who hit him with a kitchen knife in his right hand with.

Alfred Psaila, the accused had told the police thats it was his son who first tried to attack him with a fork. He said he only grabbed the knife to defend himself.
