BRITISH brand Bentley will have something special to offer at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in the UK as the Continental GT Speed makes its international debut.
Powered by an uprated version of the mighty twin-turbocharged 6.0-litre W12 engine, the GT Speed offers 616 bhp and 590lb.ft of torque. With the power channelled to all four wheels via an eight-speed automatic gearbox the GT Speed can reach 60mph from rest in 4.0 seconds and go on to a remarkable 205 mph.
To make the most of the performance the GT Speed has a revised suspension, with a stiffer and lower set-up as well as uprated steering. Unique 21-inch alloy wheels are wrapped in high-specification Pirelli P Zero tyres. Inside the GT Speed is luxuriously finished with the Mulliner Driving Specification option fitted as standard.
The GT Speed will make two high-speed runs a day up the Goodwood hill climb at the Festival of Speed, driven by Bentley ambassadors Juha Kankunnen, Guy Smith and Derek Bell.
