The first weekend of the 25th Farsons Great Beer Festival at Ta' Qali Park is turning out to be another success. The Festival celebration continues tonight with more shows by leading Maltese bands and singers, food and, of course, the great selection of Farsons' beers. Doors open at 7.30 p.m. and entrance is free.

"Moonlight, music and beer are once again on the menu as we enter the third evening of The Farsons Great Beer Festival. Fans of Maltese talent will truly be able to savour the best of our local artists," said Ivan Filletti, marketing manager at Simonds Farsons Cisk plc. "Over the festival's ten days, more than 40 singers will entertain our crowds."

This evening's entertainment will begin at 9 p.m. on the Main Stage with the young singer Thea Saliba & Friends, followed by the Maltese rapper Hooligan. Chiara with her exceptional voice is expected on stage at around 10 p.m. Fans of alternative music will be able to enjoy the Beangrowers and Tribali on the Rock Stage @ World Beers Area. The alternative music programme also begins at 9 p.m.

Over the next two days the festival gets underway with J Anvil, Tony Camilleri l-Ghannej, and Enzo Guzman on the Main Stage and the bands Dripht and Rug on the Rock Stage @ World Beers Area on Monday.

The popular Claudette Pace with Band and the young Lynn Faurè accompanied by the Italian rock tenor Giuseppe Ranzani will perform on the Main Stage on Tuesday. While Indigo (unplugged) followed by Muzzle and Red House will appear on the Rock Stage @ World Beers Area.

Every night there will be live links on Bay Radio from the Rock Stage @ World Beers Area which is also supported by Rookies.
