A man was grievously injured after he fell off a ladder at a residence in Naxxar on Friday night, the police said. 

The 66-year-old victim from Balzan was working in Triq Juan B. Azzopardi when the incident happened just before 7pm.

An ambulance rushed the man to hospital. 

Police are investigating.
