Reigning champion Sebastian Vettel will start on pole in tomorrow morning's grand prix in Malaysia in his Red Bull, ahead of Ferrari's Felipe Massa.

Fernando Alonso is third on the sister Ferrari where Lewis Hamilton is fourth in a Mercedes.

Next come Mark Webber (Red Bull) and Nico Roseberg (Mercedes).

Kimi Raikkonen (Lotus) was due to start seventh but was given a three-place grid penalty for impeding Rosberg, and will now start 10th. He won last week's race in Australia after starting seventh.

Jenson Button (McLaren) will start seventh followed by Adrian Sutil (Force India) and Sergio Perez (McLaren).

The last qualifying session was held in wet conditions, the rain having started in the middle of the second qualifying session.
