India will host a formula one race in 2009, the Indian Olympic Association confirmed on Thursday. It said an agreement has been signed with F1 commercial supremo Bernie Ecclestone. The race will be held in the capital, New Delhi. Indian driver Narain Karthikeyan drove for Jordan in the 2005 season.
