A master class in export is being offered by the Malta Institute of Management, which will help prepare people to adapt to the changing nature of exporting, brought about by globalisation and increase in knowledgeable buyers.
As old ways are being cast aside to make space for newer techniques, the international market presents new challenges. There is a need for well-trained and skilled managers who have an understanding of the exporting process in its entirety.
The master class is a pragmatic programme designed for people new to exporters, as well as experienced exporters who need to update themselves to new techniques and processes. It will cover basic terminology and procedures, terms of delivery and various other essential tools. It aims to build skills and expand knowledge.
The programme, which costs €250 per person, will be delivered in eight two-hour evening sessions in a classroom context and a breakfast meeting. The sessions begin on Friday and come to a close on April 16. Discounts may be offered to groups of more than two participants.
