The second in the series of cultural tours supported by the Malta Council for Culture and the Arts will be held on January 23.

For this tour all participants, accompanied by professional guides, will have the opportunity, to explore the Presidential Palace and private gardens in San Anton and see an exhibition of miniature mechanised models of traditional trades and crafts.

Participants will also visit the psychiatric museum and war shelters at the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Hospital.

These much-awaited monthly cultural tours have become an important part of our calendar of events and many patrons look forward to them because through them they may enrich their knowledge of our Maltese culturalheritage.

Departures are from the Granaries in Floriana (next to the Independence Monument) and Sliema Ferries (opposite the Jesus of Nazareth church). Coaches leave at 8.45 a.m.

Bookings are on a first-come-first-served basis and close on January 19 at noon or earlier if fully booked. The booking office is open on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays between 8.30 a.m. and 3 p.m.
