Why must we invent a place to house the unique Perellos tapestries when they can majestically be displayed in the magnificent main hall at the Knights' own Sacra Infermeria?
The display in such surroundings would be breathtaking and cannot be matched anywhere else. There is even a small chapel to complement the concept of the exhibits.
In 1873, Michelangelo's David was moved from Piazza Signoria to the Galleria dell'Accademia, more or less the same distance away.
In this way we will not only save millions on a scandalous project but stop, once and for all, the vulgar use of the hall for trade fairs.
