The third edition of the EuroSport Fleur-de-Lys road races was held recently.

The winner of the five-kilometre race was Charles Cilia of AS Libertas in 15.53 in front of Gerald Grech (15.58) and David Galea (16.01).

Cilia thus bettered Drew Lang's performance in the last edition by six seconds. Cecilia Fenech (19.04) was the first lady at the finish, followed by two St Patrick's runners, Angela Sammut (19.38) and Carmen Hili (19.58).

Promising athlete Nathan Vella (La Salle) ran the three-kilometre race in 11.33 followed by Andrea Camilleri (11.58) and Keith Tabone (12.02), both of St Patrick's.

St Patrick's AC won the participation Trophy.
