Croatia, the Czech Republic, Portugal and the Republic of Ireland last night became the last four nations to qualify for the Euro 2012 football championship.

The 16 participating nations will be: Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, England, France, Germany, Greece, the Netherlands, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Republic of Ireland, Ukraine, Russia, Spain and Sweden.

In the final qualifying matches last night, Portugal beat Bosnia-Herzegovina 6-2, Croatia made do with a 0-0 draw against  Turkey, the Czechs beat Montenegro 1-0 and and Ireland drew 1-1 against Estonia.
