The European Union Programmes Agency is looking into alternative ways of funding projects that could be derailed because of the European Commission’s suspension of funds, KSU said today.

It said it was still deeply concerned about the situation and feels it is unacceptable for any students not to benefit from these opportunities.

Today it met with EUPA and was notified that students may be given an indication as to whether they will be allowed to take part in programmes, such as Erasmus, as early as next week.

“Students cannot accept a delay of six months. In view of the fact that exams are less than two weeks away, KSU augurs that the situation is remedied as soon as possible,” president Carl Grech said.
