The European Social Fund (ESF) project Me2!, coordinated by Agenzija Sapport, has helped 350 people with disabilities to integrate in the labour market.

During a recent conference, Sina Bugeja, chief executive officer for the Foundation for Social Welfare Services, said the initiative aims to help people with disabilities live independent lives and increase their prospects of work.

The aim of this mid-term conference was to provide project participants and other stakeholders within the project with the opportunity to discuss and focus on enhancing the opportunities for people with disabilities in the labour market.

The Me2! project, organised in collaboration with the National Commission for Persons with a Disability (KNPD) and the Employment and Training Corporation (ETC), has exceeded its original target of 230 participants.

Those benefitting from the initiative also make use of the services offered by Aġenzija Sapport, which include daytime social work services as well as residential community services.
