My family and I have just returned to England after two weeks in Malta.

I thought that I would write to say how friendly and helpful the Maltese people we met were, and how brilliant the bus service was (which would put London Transport to shame). The longest we waited for a bus was only 10 minutes.

I saw a few letters about bus drivers in your paper. We found the drivers to be very helpful, always telling us if we were on the right bus, or where to catch the right bus.

We also appreciated how hard they must work, sometimes in difficult conditions.

We also enjoyed reading your newspaper, which gave us all the news we needed, plus an idea of life in Malta.

Despite the unusually inclement weather, the warmth of the Maltese people and the wealth of attractions to visit made it an enjoyable holiday.
