The Malta Cultural Institute is holding its eighth concert  at the Junior College Theatre, Msida on Sunday at 7pm. Featuring dancers from The Dance Workshop, under the direction of Theresa Lungaro-Mifsud, they will be performing a programme of dance based on the theme ‘The kingdom of flowers’.

The evening will also feature bassist James Vella Bondin and pianist Lydia Buttigieg  in a recital which will include excerpts from operas by Verdi and Puccini, as well as works by Paolo Tosti and Jerry Bock.

There will also be a special intervention to celebrate Mothers’ Day. An MCI painting exhibition will display works by Charles Chetcuti.

Free parking will be available for guests in the grounds of the Junior College during the concert. The theatre has lift facilities, providing easy access for guests with special needs. All are invited to attend. A contribution at the door will be appreciated, to help cover some of the expenses of the MCI and the use of the Junior College Theatre.
