A 31-year-old Egyptian who lives in Qawra was his morning granted bail against a deposit of €700 and a personal guarantee of €10,000 after he pleaded not guilty to grievously injuring a man.

He was also charged with carrying a knife without a permit, attacking, threatening and insulting his victim, breaching the peace and using obscene language in public.
