Local recruitment leader Vacancycentre.com unveiled a new jobs and careers website to coincide with Vacancycentre.com’s 12th anniversary since it launched on the web.

Operated by CSB Group, Vacancycentre.com revamped its website – now its fifth version – to streamline the way career seekers search for employment opportunities, both locally and internationally, while keeping tabs on the latest openings across the Vacancycentre.com network. The site now boasts over 1,000 jobs and is thus the job board that offers the largest number of online jobs in Malta.

As part of a broad job search process, online recruitment has made the job search easier than ever before. With the constant dynamic changes in technology and increased web popularity, online recruitment has become the main source for both candidates and employers. There are a wide range of such sites available online, so finding one that is appropriate to your needs is much easier nowadays. When used as part of an overall job search approach, online recruitment sites can be helpful and time-saving.

Vacancycentre.com also understands candidates’ demand for simpler and more flexible access to our job vacancies. Having enhanced its effectiveness as a job board, aside from the established success in recruitment solutions, Vacancycentre.com will continue to be the portal that most reputable companies would utilise.

The increased functionality gives Vacancycentre.com a competitive advantage, providing both employer and career seeker a more engaging experience, allowing for efficient recruitment across a number of industries. This is backed by VacancyCentre.com’s JOBm@il service.

The portal also offers career seekers the option to browse and apply for jobs outside Malta via network partners across a wide range of countries, within and outside the EU.

The site was developed by CSB Group who has operated within the recruitment industry for the past 25 years.

“Using RSS and Web 2.0 technology that is also iPad and smartphone friendly, this new website is more efficient as we note the current trends for employees to use smartphones to browse job vacancies,” said the group’s marketing executive Diane Borg Bascetta. “We are planning to add more features and functionality as this new site allows for increased flexibility.”

Head of recruitment and HR services Caren Portelli added that recruiters and employers can now benefit from free job postings and hence advertise their vacancy for free for a limited time period. Career opportunities are easier to find through Vacancycentre.com and the site allows users to filter employment opportunities endlessly, including by industry, country and key words.

“Finally, the site will continue to allow candidates to join the rest of the 24,000 subscribers to our interactive JOBm@il service, gaining the opportunity to receive job alerts on new incoming positions within their selected category.”

She continued by saying, “We are delighted to offer clients the opportunity to benefit from our successful recruitment website as a job board and experience the effectiveness of the job posting and JOBm@il service. Also, candidate and client confidentiality, as well as efficiency are key values in everything that we do.”

Candidates and employers can also benefit from the new resource library which provides tips and articles for employers, business owners, job seekers and graduates.

Visitors can also browse for jobs by country – countries that are also fellow members of The Network, one of the world’s largest recruitment portals.

“With this in mind, we aim to broaden horizons for our visitors, thus offering them the opportunity to consider and apply for career opportunities outside our shores,” said CSB Group CEO Michael Zammit.
