I am always both entertained and perturbed when I read the constant economic blasphemies uttered by the chairman of the Malta Developers’ Association to both the media and political representatives.

His latest is when he says that the sale in Malta of one villa for €10 million to a third country national causes no damage as it does not affect the housing affordability of the Maltese (August 17).

Sandro Chetcuti badly needs to read some texts about things like: trickle down effects; cost-price reputational market manipulation spreading; small market pricing realities and a host of other property economics topics he is clearly totally ignorant of.
