Ebola information sessions were today carried out by the Health Promotion and Disease Prevention Directorate for immigration and border control officers, detention services staff and heads of customs.

The sessions included information on the virus and how it is transmitted and measures being taken by the health authorities.

The different entities aired their concerns relating to their risk of exposure at their workplace and advice was given on the actual risk based on the mode of transmission of this virus and preventive measures that can be taken were recommended.
