Easygas, the new supplier of LPG gas, published the price of its products for January last night.

The 10kg grey gas cylinder sells at €13.40, the 15kg cylinder costs €19.50 and a 25kg cylinder is sold at €31.50. The prices included the door-to-door delivery charge, Easygas said. It said that, in view of the ongoing controversy over the refund paid on gas cylinders, door-to-door deliveries were still not being made and thus its cylinders were only available from its premises in Valletta Road, Luqa, Alfsons Enterprises - Manuel Magri Street, Ħamrun and the Easygas Malta shop in Naxxar Road, San Ġwann.

Prices from fixed point sites are as: 10kg – €13; 15kg – €19 and 25kg – €30.80. The company insisted the authorities had to ensure consumers were able to enjoy the benefits of market competition.
