An Easter egg hunt in aid of The Inspire Foundation is being held at San Anton Gardens on Tuesday.

During the event, being held under the patronage of President Marie Louise Coleiro Preca, fun activities for children of all ages will be organised by Inspire.

The main attractions are expected to be the various Milkyway Easter egg hunts and bunny hop races.

Children will be divided into groups according to aged and led by volunteers to complete their tasks. A €5 donation per child would enable them to take part in both activities.

Sessions will start at 10am with the last one taking place at 2.30pm. Each activity will last about 15 minutes.

The maze at San Anton Gardens will feature greatly during the event with tokens exchangeable for Milkybar chocolate eggs being hidden within it for children to find. Many golden eggs will be strategically hidden for the lucky finders to enjoy an even bigger surprise.

Bunny hop races will start from the President’s Palace entrance. Children will be treated to bunny face paintings before taking part. With their legs tied together they will attempt to make it to the end of the course. There are lots of prizes to be won.

t 11.15am the children would be able to enjoy a story read by President Coleiro Preca and at 3pn Nestle will surprise children with a candy drop. Sweets will literally fall from the sky for the children to feast on.
