It is not surprising that there are so many bad drivers on Malta’s roads – driving instructors themselves do not observe road etiquette.

Recently one such instructor was with a learner and he told his client to overtake a stationary bus on their side while there was oncoming traffic from the opposite side.

When they were told that they had done something wrong the instructor shouted at the driver who had the right of way that he would not pass a driving test.
