The driver of a car that overturned in Żebbuġ on Thursday night was only slightly injured, but the passenger travelling with her was badly hurt, police said.

The accident occurred at 10pm an Triq l-Imdina. 

Police said that the driver, a 26-year-old woman from Siġġiewi, lost control of the car, hit the pavement and overturned.

The passenger was a 28-year-old man, also from Siġġiewi.
