Prime Minister Joseph Muscat has completed a three-day whirlwind tour of six European capitals where he discussed the priorities of Malta’s EU presidency, notably ‘social Europe’ and job creation and other items on the EU’s agenda including immigration and Brexit.

Dr Muscat had meetings today with Cypriot President Nicos Anastasiades in Nicosia and Italian Prime Minister Paolo Gentiloni in Rome.

Dr Muscat also visited Bucharest, Athens, Prague and Stockholm.
