Donna Summer has received a posthumous nomination for entry into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. It is the sixth time the disco singer has been shortlisted for the honor. Summers died in May at age 63. Others nominated for induction include Heart, Public Enemy, and Joan Jett and the Blackhearts. Inductees will be announced in early December.

Julianne Moore has been the victim of a jewel heist. The actress has filed a police report claiming that at least 127,000 dollars worth of jewels were stolen from her New York home. Moore says the pieces - many from Cartier - were taken while she was on location in Canada. The actress said between 15 and 25 workers had access to her home.

Nicole Kidman walked the red carpet in an equally red dress for a special gala in her honor. The actress' career was being celebrated by the New York Film Festival, where her latest movie, "The Paperboy" was being screened. Also in attendance were her husband Keith Urban and "Paperboy" director, Lee Daniels.
