The Bay Street complex in St Julian's will be donating six computer laptops, a Wii game console and six flat screen televisions to the Rainbow Ward at Mater Dei Hospital.

The donation ties in with Bay Street's Rainbow Ward Good Cause Campaign.

The complex also organised activities in aid of the Puttinu Cares Children Support Group. The group was set up to offer emotional and financial support to children, who are suffering from cancer, together with their families.

The activities were hosted by Martin Sapiano and featured performances by Chilean singer and latin dancer Tauro, the Malta Academy for Performing Arts, Jake Camilleri, the Cute Singers and Dancers, Mix Age dancers and line dancing. The evening also saw a plaque-placing ceremony endor-sing the Bay Street Rainbow Ward Good Cause Fund.
