Hibernians found little difficulty in booking their place in the quarter-finals of the U*Bet FA Trophy after crushing Rabat Ajax 5-0 at the Hibs Stadium.

The match turned out to be a one-sided affair with the Paolites taking just three minutes to stroll ahead when Andrew Cohen curled the ball into the top corner of the net from a central free-kick.

Hibs doubled their lead on 14 minutes when Jackson Lima sent in a teasing cross and in came Clayton Failla who dived to head the ball home.

The Paolites were in rampant form in these early stages and three minutes later Bjorn Kristensen released Peter Anizoba whose first attempt was blocked by Sean Mintoff but the ball ricocheted off the Nigerian-born striker to finish into the back of the net.

Hibs added a fourth goal on 23 minutes when from a Cohen corner-kick, Anizoba headed the ball into the path of Luis Edison who stabbed home from close in.

Hibs wrapped up their win on 79 minutes when Lima unleashed a powerful drive from outside the area that flew past a stranded Mintoff.
