The Divorce Movement complained today that while the Prime Minister had met the movement against divorce, it was still awaiting an appointment.
It said it made its request last November 15, even before the movement against divorce was set up.
At the time it had been told that the parliamentary debate on the holding of the referendum had to be concluded.
Yet no reply had been received since then.
Once Dr Gonzi had thanked both movements for their work in the referendum campaign, the Divorce Movement said it saw no reason for Dr Gonzi not to agree to a meeting.
PN REACTION
In a reaction, the Nationalist Party said no request from the Divorce Movement had been received for a meeting with Dr Gonzi after the debate in parliament ended.
It said Dr Gonzi was ready to meet the movement.
