MSC Divina, the third and latest addition to the MSC Cruises’ Fantasia class gracefully entered Grand Harbour on its maiden call this morning.

The 140,000-tonne ship, which towers well above the bastions, was commissioned a few days ago. It was built  at the STX Europe shipyard in Saint-Nazaire, France.

The 'divine goddess' has 18 decks (13 of them for passengers) which are named after the gods of Ancient Greece; among them Urano, Afrodite, Aurora, Giunone, Artemide, Zeus, Mercurio, Cupido, Iride, Minerva, Apollo, Saturno.
